Horsley Towers Wedding Photographer - Caroline & Daniel
Horsley Towers Wedding Photographer -
Caroline & Daniel
In November, Ian and I were honoured to be the official wedding photographers of Caroline and Daniel's wedding day. Horsley Towers is a stunning wedding venue at any time of the year with it's magnificent 19th-century classical mansion which dates back to 1820.
Horsley Towers is hidden away in 70 acres of picturesque parkland, a beautiful lake and of course, it's very own tower. Pretty cool! Located in East Horsley, it's super easy to get to as well as it's just a few miles from Junction 10 of the M25 and has 47 bedrooms - perfect for out of town wedding guests!
Ian and arrived the morning of Caroline & Dan's wedding just as the fabulous Chloe and her team of expert florists from The Oak & The Owl were setting up so we popped in to say hello and see the beautiful floral arrangements that were arriving!
As Ian went to find Daniel and his guys for Groom prep, I headed up the beautiful staircase to the Bridal Suite to see Caroline and her Bridesmaids. I love photographing the Bridal prep, it's one of my favourite parts of the wedding day! Caroline was excited and happy, and all the ladies were busy getting ready for the big moment.
Caroline and Dan's gorgeous son Ethan was there too and I couldn't help but capture these gorgeous photographs of him and his Mummy on her special day at Horsley Towers!
The ceremony room is beautiful - high arched ceilings huge candelabras, stunning stain glass windows and of course, Ian was up on the balcony to capture a beautiful birds eye view!
The ceremony was amazing and suited Caroline & Dan's personalities - the perfect mix of romance and fun!
It was November at Horsley Towers and so with Christmas was just around the corner Caroline created a stunning navy, silver and white themed wedding day with just a hint of Christmas sparkle like these fabulous table names!
Of course, it wouldn't be a wedding without a wedding cake - and this beautiful fruit filled naked cake was simply perfect!
Caroline and Dan added their own unique touches to the wedding breakfast including gorgeous personalised wine and a quiz for their wedding guests to do!
In true Caroline & Dan style, the wedding speeches were EPIC! Lots and LOTS of laughter, tears and wonderful moments that will never be forgotten! (Tattoo's anyone?!)
Of course, we had to visit the Secret Chapel at Horsley Towers for some newlywed photos!
When the evening party started, it started with a bang! Oomph (my favourite wedding band in the whole world!) were there! We have done quite a few weddings together now and I can honestly say I have never seen so much energy, talent and fun in any other band! I've also never seen an empty dance floor at a wedding they have performed at! I don't recommend businesses lightly - but I 100% recommend Oomph for any event where a live band is needed!
Have you ever been to Horsley Towers? It's beautiful, a wedding photographers dream! Full of Victorian architecture, beautiful scenery and even has a secret chapel. Wow. The staff are really lovely too which makes a huge difference on the wedding day!
Caroline & Dan - thank you so much for choosing Notton House Photography to be your wedding photographers! We wish you all the best in your future together!
